Busy Monday – week of May 13

Happy Mother’s Day!  This is one of those “hard” holidays for those who have lost their mother or have unpleasant memories for some reason — so to you I wish you peace.  For those who  will be celebrating in some way, may you have a wonderful day!

Wonderful is the word for all the great ideas that were linked last week!  It was so much fun to visit each one — and really hard to narrow it down to just three features!

Strawberry Scones

Scattered Thoughts of A Crafy Mom went strawberry picking and shared her recipe for  strawberry scones — and strawberry milk.

An old green chair became this luscious pink when Bella’s Crafty Mom wielded her paintbrush.   She also made the footstool.

    I have a few friends who faced firsts this Mother’s Day. My sil experienced her 1st one without her mom who died last year. A friend from school lost her husband last year, and this was her 1st without him.
