We spent our Fourth of July holiday at home just chillin’– literally and gratefully! Friends between us and the East Coast were sweltering because of the high windstorms that wiped out power lines. Relatives in the western part of the country were closely watching wildfires. In both cases, many folks had to seek alternative shelter. How would you even prepare for such an event, I wondered. I came up with 9 checklists to help if evacuation becomes necessary. Feel free to scroll down to the post below or click here and help yourself to the checklists. We all hope no one has to use the information, but just in case . . . a public service announcement : 0)
