1 box wild rice with seasoning packet
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can of water
1 small can mushrooms, drained
4 chicken breasts
Lemon pepper to taste
1cup slivered almonds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Pour rice into medium mixing bowl, add seasoning packet. Pour in cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup plus one soup can of water. Drain mushrooms and add to bowl. Stir mixture well.
Spray 8x 8 baking pan with cooking spray. Spoon rice mixture into baking pan. Smooth with rubber spatula to form even layer. Place chicken breasts on top of rice, avoid overlapping. Sprinkle chicken breasts with lemon pepper or black pepper to taste. Top with slivered almonds
Bake uncovered for 1 hour to one hour fifteen minutes. Rice should be tender and chicken should be 165 degrees.
