Sauted green beans with sesame seeds.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, tipped (cleaned and ends snapped or cut off)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • ΒΌ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add sesame seeds. (Warning: may pop when hot.)
  3. When seeds darken, stir in green beans.
  4. Stir gently until bean turn bright green.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and add salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook until beans are tender / crisp, about 10 minutes.
  7. Uncover and cook until liquid evaporates.
