A Pinch of Joy

Eat Healthy, Do it Yourself, Live Well, Have Fun.

Busy Monday 283

Thoughts and prayers for those dealing with flood, wind and fire this morning — and for weeks to come.  I volunteered as part of the US State Department’s International Visitors Program for several years.   There are wonderful people everywhere  who serve and sacrifice for their fellow citizens, but visitors from all over the world marveled at the spirit of volunteerism woven into the everyday life of Americans.  Only in the US is the help your neighbor ethic so widely and strongly practiced.  It is one of the unique strengths of our nation.  Thank you for the support  you have shown our fellow citizens who are hurting.   And thank you for stopping by to share your awesome links!
