30 degrees on Tuesday and 90 degrees on Saturday. Whiplash! Add wind gusts 30- 70 mph — slapstick stuff. Beautiful sunshine suckered me into a walk. My feet were moving quickly while bending horizontal to the sidewalk with wind whipping from behind. Wind abruptly changed direction and I ended up setting on the curb. Tried to stand just as the wind gusted from yet a different direction and I hugged a mailbox until I was blown to the street sign. Turned the corner into the wind — no perceivable progress. Sudden wind stop and I bolted for the door. Wind slammed door shut behind me. Staying inside today! Thanks for stopping by to share your awesome work!

haha….. Our backyard in North Texas is like a wind tunnel most days, and a week of 40+ wind gusts is exhausting just to go outside! Many years ago when my daughters were little (they’re now 50 & 48) and I was married to their dad ~ they had a playhouse that my ex-s father built. It was really like a big doghouse. The wind had blown it apart, and I went out to try to straighten it up. I picked up one side, and a gust of wind got under it and lifted me about 5 feet off the ground! (Don’t know if you’re old enough to remember Sally Field in “The Flying Num” series, but I could relate)….. anyways, my ex came out and said “Stop screwing around and get down!” ….. haha…. (possibly explaining why he’s an “ex”, even though we’re all super good friends now). ……..Have a Happy Spring, and stay grounded!
