Went to the kitchen at noon to prepare lunch. Looked out the big window and noticed no movement. No birds, no squirrel. Silence. Hmm? About 15 minutes later, I was ready to walk back to the office and noticed all the incoming traffic near the bird feeder. Birds were swarming all over – hanging on the feeder, bobbing for seeds on the ground, under hostas, in the flower pots — birds of all kinds and shapes. If finding food and eating all day is their main job — were they on a coffee break? Eating bugs for a change? Or do they have a map of backyards with feeders filled on Saturday and have a Sunday weekend schedule to follow? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thank you for featuring my Glazed fresh Peach Pie ~ and thank you for not bombarding us with pumpkin recipes or Christmas crafts while it’s still in the 90s outside! (If people can post Christmas crafts now when Christmas is 4 months away, can I post Easter crafts while my Christmas decorations are still out?) … People need to relax and enjoy the moment!

Sorry–I like to make Christmas crafts in the summer since I’m so busy later in the year closer to the holidays. I know some people like the Christmas in July approach, and others don’t. I think that’s the fun of a blog party. 🙂 We can enjoy what we want and ignore the rest. Steer clear of the post I just shared today. ha ha I hope we get rid of our 90 degrees soon!

I thought for sure a big storm was going to be part of your story… that seems to be when the air gets quiet by us followed by lots of frenzied action at the feeders! It’s always fun to observe all the action. Inquiring minds DO want to know! Thanks for another stellar party and for including us in your features! We’re delighted!

We tend to have a big visit to the feeders when a storm is moving in, but otherwise they do tend to keep their own schedule! Have a great week, and thanks for the link-up.

I haven’t seen our daily birds at the birdbath. We usually have them splashing and enjoying a few sips of water. Hoping to see them again soon. Thank you so much for featuring my zoo trip post. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Have a great week and thank you for hosting.
