Hope everyone had a good holiday! We had a wonderful time with niece Angie and her three! For Christmas Eve, I gathered recipes, divided ingredients into a bag for each recipe and set up five work stations in the kitchen. One teen made mini cheeseballs – which were a hit once the baguette was sliced. The other teen made mini pepperoni rolls with pizza dipping sauce. The preteen made absolutely symmetrical sliced meat and cheese pinwheels, while Angie wrapped smokies in crescent dough. Next day, we had individual pizzas and tacos with each person making their own. It was a relaxing, enjoyable time together! May you find time for relaxation this week! Thank you for stopping by with your awesome ideas, projects and recipes!

Thanks for featuring my No-Churn Peppermint Ice Cream! I love the food project with your teens! My youngest daughter has 5 kids (22 to 18 now). They’re all in college, but when they were in high school she had them go in teams and make dinner once a week (“teams” changed). So now they can all cook and have their own specialties! Some lucky girls are getting husbands who won’t be afraid to make waffles for breakfast or try out a new recipe in the kitchen! Have a joyful and bountiful new year!

Cooking is an essential skill for everyone in my book. And what other activity brings immediate reward the way food preparation does?!!

Google and I are having an issue apparently. . . . can’t sign in on your party anymore (it seems to be an ongoing issue on my end – yours is not the only one) , but wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your Christmas tree tour! We only had four this year — all skinny ones and I wire the decorations on so I don’t have to redecorate each year. Love Christmas!
