New Year’s Eve was quiet and relaxing. Except for that roaring game of Telestration! A combination of Telephone (where you pass the message to the next person and see how garbled it is after other people get hold of it!) and Guess My Drawing (from a bunch of non-artists with a sharpie and one sophisticated artist!). Sister Bee hosted the annual affair which was smaller than usual – so many family members traveling, or New Year’s Day activities keeping them home on New Year’s Eve. LOTS of good food, though. We spent the next couple days on the casual schedule scale so our houseguests (and me ‘n’ son Bytes) caught up on sleep and munchies and are ready to tackle the first work week of the year!
