A Pinch of Joy

Eat Healthy, Do it Yourself, Live Well, Have Fun.

Air Fryer

Cinna Mini Rolls – Air Fryer

CinnaMini Rolls A Pinch of Joy #AirFryer

These mini cinnamon rolls were fun to make and offered instant reward!  Well, not exactly instant but they were ready to eat in about 12 minutes and that’s pretty close to instant in cinnamon roll world.  And they are fun to eat and oh so good!  Would make a fun addition to an appetizer table.  Or a breakfast table.  Or with dinner.  Or a snack – oh heck, for any occasion, any time! Older kids could make these by themselves – with an adult handling the air fryer.  I’m sporting a burn on my wrist where I bumped it on the basket.  The motor skills required to make these small rolls are more than younger children can do well, but they certainly could handle stirring and drizzling the glaze.  Edible by all ages! I was a little nervous since bacon was not mentioned in the material that came with mine.  So a little research on line where I found cooking time and temperature listed and not much ... [Read More]

Tuna Melt — Air Fryer

Tuna Melt prepared in an Air Fryer -- A Pinch of Joy

Tuna Melts were the first thing I made in my new air fryer.  I wasn’t expecting to buy one last Saturday – especially at the Kiwanis Garage Sale.  But there it was on the Silent Auction table, reserved for brand new products from members or sponsors.  I picked a random number and three hours later the air fryer was mine.  The Tuna Melts I made for lunch today were delicious.  I hope that is a good omen for my ownership!! Start with a good tuna.  Usually that means a little more expensive – unless you can find a store brand that is just right.  Another random find one day when the store had run out of the national brand that was on sale.  Serendipitous because the substitute is so much better and actually costs less!   I used mounding tablespoons of mayonnaise because I didn’t want the ...
