A Pinch of Joy

Eat Healthy, Do it Yourself, Live Well, Have Fun.

Busy Monday 380

It is raining — again.  The ground is so wet that big, old trees just fall over because the wet ground won’t hold the roots any longer.  Fields are flooded and farm equipment sets idle.  Friends have had their basement flooded four times already.  Every time they thought the new preventive measures they took would solve the problem, only to find the water came higher, faster and sneakier next time.  It’s a challenge especially since drought is usually the big worry for everyone!  Thanks to you for sharing your awesome solutions, recipes and projects!

The weather is sooo off this year. Not even Sept and we have temps down in the 40’s at night. Yuck! Thank you for hosting this weeks party. It’s all about elderberry here on the hill right now and I’ve shared 14 Elderberry Benefits and How To Prepare For Cold & Flu Season With Elderberry Tincture. Have a wonderful week and I hope it dries out for you!
