A Pinch of Joy

Eat Healthy, Do it Yourself, Live Well, Have Fun.

Busy Monday 440

Would you like a haircut appointment?  said the text.  ASAP, I replied.  Saturday, 9:45 came the return text.  YAY!  My  before lockdown  haircut grew for 3 months plus before I could get a cut, followed by an appointment for six weeks later.  The day before that appointment Maggie had to go on bed rest.  So its been another 3 months — and a healthy baby girl — later.  So yesterday morning I showed up at the salon at 9:45–only to have Maggie point out that the word following Saturday said Halloween.  I was a whole week early!!!  Thankfully the stranger who was waiting for her hair to process, told Maggie to go ahead. If you have short hair that grows fast you know how much that means.  So thank you, Maggie, and thank you, kind stranger.  And — just a reminder — NEXT Saturday is Halloween!  Thanks for stopping by to share your awesome posts!
