We painted the deck walls the same color as the living room walls. The deck is inset into the north wall of the living room so it is roofed and fully enclosed on three sides in an attempt to deal with the prairie “breezes” and other climate conditions. That floor plan makes things VERY dark inside and out. Especially when the walls were painted the dark earthy green of the house exterior. So we changed them to the soft gray of the living room with its big window looking out onto the deck — no more hobbit hole! Now to find a cheerful, fun and bright colored rug. . . May you create bright spots this week! Thanks for stopping by to share your latest posts!

Hi Charlene,
Thanks so much for the party and you have a healthy week. My husband just got a positive Covid 19, so we will be inside for a while. He is still home so we are grateful for that!

Miz Helen — I am so sorry to hear your husband tested positive. I hope everything goes well and that he makes a speedy recovery — or even better is asymptomatic! May you stay well! Charlene
