Working on the Pentagon in the backyard. The garden shed, that is. It actually fits into the yard better than a square shed. Two sides align with the corner of the fence and three sides face the yard itself and that’s what you see when you look out the window. It takes up less visual space and there is more room for plants. It has been dark green, faded to light green with dark spots so time for a redo. Scraping off paint on the window and door frames has been an interesting exercise. Twelve years baking in the hot prairie sun has loosened paint in some spots and firmly anchored it in the wood in other places. Have sanded so hopefully the firm paint will blend with bare wood and no one will notice underneath the stunning paint scheme. Otherwise, it’s climbing roses!
