Hot, humid days and severe storms at night. Afternoon breaks are spent standing at the dining room window, in air conditioning, watching dozens of birds at the feeder or on the water fountain. Recently a red squirrel began wandering through the yard mid-afternoon, scooping up corn birds throw to the ground. Today I saw a huge and magnificent black swallowtail swooping around the dill plants. They like dill?? Brilliant orange orioles cruise to a landing on the jelly feeder. This time of year there are usually young ones coming along for the grape jelly offering. May you find something that refreshes your soul this week! Thanks for stopping by to share your awesome work!
