If you have been in the path of snow this week – you have my sympathy! We have been lucky – snow lazily drifting in the air all day, but accumulation is very little and Bytes uses the leaf blower to clear the walks. Temperatures go from -3 to today’s 57. Even the birds coming to the feeder have changed to cardinals, blue jays and a flock of dark-eyed juncos. The first have gone from occasional visitors to every day and we’ve never had dark-eye juncos here before. So which is best – consistency of big snow and cold every day? Or the forecast that never aligns with the weather man and the question of what are the birds telling us? So much to ponder in the warmth of a cozy office! Thanks for stopping by to share your awesome posts this week!

We’ve had lots of cold temps but very little snow. However, we spent a long weekend in north central Wisconsin and we were in a winter wonderland! Such fun! Thanks so much for the party, Charlene!

Haha, how funny is that, even in India, the weather do not co-operate with the weather man. Good to know things are coming back to normal. Thank you for the link party. My link-ups are #57 and #58

Thank you for featuring the photo of me & my husband on our 42nd anniversary (although it was a shock when I saw it b/c I thought I’d posted something else ~ haha). We got quite a bit of snow (for North Texas anyways) but it’s the 1/2″ of ice underneath everything that was so bad. Even though day temps are close to 50, we still have some snow. Strangely, the opposite side of our street still has LOTS of snow, including ice on their driveways, but our driveway, walk & sidewalks aree bone dry and no snow even on the grass (in front ~ but still some snow in back). At least we don’t have to let the faucets drip at night anymore, or leave the cabinets open underneath the faucets because that was driving me crazy! Take care and catch y’all again next week!

I’m glad I am not the only who is shocked by the end results in a post!

I always laughed when the weather and the weather man did not line up when I lived in MT or WY. Usually it was warmer than reported. But not here in East Texas, when they say it is going to be cold, it IS cold! We have been below freezing off and on for the past 10 days or so. And more on than off. Our feeders are teaming with hungry eaters and today is supposed to be warmer, which I am celebrating. There is a reason I left the snow and cold….thanks for the shout out of my Crisper Drawer series, the one on green onions. Have a great week ahead, and thanks for hosting.

Not a fan of snow OR cold — but like the heat even less! So here I am right in the middle where we get everything!!
