Love these gorgeous fall days! It has been so pleasant every day that one could easily become spoiled and forget about the wild Plains winters. There are hints, though, as trees are turning early and some birds, like robins, have already migrated. The butterflies are beginning to show up — also a bit early — and are swarming around the blue asters. Today I scouted out a spot for a small brush pile hidden behind the big pine trees in the corner of the garden so butterflies and lightning bugs have a sanctuary from winter weather. Thanks for taking time to stop by our little corner of the ecosystem to share your awesome posts!
