Wheels has always outdone himself for Valentine’s Day. There was the Dove Dark Chocolate with an article from a magazine on how dark chocolate was healthy. A couple of years later, it was two cases of tuna. I was looking at the grocery ad featuring $100 rose bouquets and said something along the line of “I’d rather have this” pointing to the photo of the case of tuna for sale. A week later I came downstairs for breakfast to find two large cardboard boxes setting on the kitchen counter. I was really puzzled — especially after I opened the top one and found 24 cans of tuna. Wha—?? And then I remembered that little comment tossed off when I thought he wasn’t really paying attention. And started to laugh. Gotta love a guy who listens!!
