We got a new vehicle this week. Never driven a van before, but here I am! First time I drove it — in a hurry, of course– I automatically reached for the shift lever to put it in reverse. Squirted the front window twice before I remembered the shift was now on the console and that lever on the steering column controls the windshield wipers.
