Rocky the Rescue Cat stopped eating and drinking. Vet said two medications– orally with a skinny syringe – twice a day. You know a cat that was on his own in his early life is a scrapper! So Bytes made a full body restraint with a blanket leaving Rocky’s head poking out. For the next week, I anchored the blanket wrapped cat’s head with one hand and pried his mouth open just wide enough to inject the medication with the other hand. Half of which Rocky promptly propelled out the other side. Then two nights ago, Rocky let Bytes pick him up without the blanket, accepted the syringe and swallowed the dose of antibiotic before launching himself across the room and down the stairs. Repeated it again last night. Must be getting better! May your problems find resolution this week! Thanks for stopping by to share your great ideas!
