Yesterday we watched Miss Lee and her saxophone march down the street in their first ever Band Festival. At 80 members the band was loud, proud and snappy! It was fun to see bands of all sizes from this part of the state showcase their talent — music, marching, twirling flags, precision drills, bass drums pounding. Then, headed to our house where we celebrated niece Angie’s (Miss Lee and Miss Lannah’s mom) birthday with a cake and a bouquet of orange and yellow flowers. It’s officially fall now! May you find music and flowers in your life this week. Thanks for stopping by to share your awesomeness!

I can’t seem to get the new party up. I’m getting #637 and it says it’s closed (10:23 am ~ Sept.30). I’ll try back later.

It sounds like the Band Festival was a lively and joyful event – I can almost hear the music and feel the excitement. It’s so inspiring to see communities come together through music and celebration, and it must have been a special treat to watch Miss Lee in her first festival! The birthday celebration with cake and those beautiful orange and yellow flowers seems like the perfect way to welcome fall. Wishing you a week filled with more music, flowers, and cherished moments. Thanks for sharing this delightful glimpse into your day!
