It has been pleasantly cool this week so I’ve gotten a lot of yardwork done this week (in spite of plantar faciitis.) The weeds that were threatening to swallow the pentagon garden shed were pulled after yet another rain — smooth as butter. Pulling the weeds that is – not the mud. Bytes laid four big stepping stones along the side of the shed and I put down a thick layer of mulch over cardboard on both sides of the new path to prevent new weed growth. Instant improvement! Pulled the deck furniture out of the winter stack and washed all so we can “dine on the deck” tonight. The loose shingles are still holding on and hopefully the roofer will get to them tomorrow before more rain comes! May you have a pleasant mid-summer catch-up this week!
