Wheels put up the Oriole feeder this week and has had to refill it every morning. It’s a free for all out there. We need to hire an air traffic controller! We have two pairs of Orioles who fly in regularly and repeatedly for shots of grape jelly. The males are spectacular in their orange and black regalia — gaudy and gorgeous!! The brilliant yellow goldfinches will drop in occasionally for a taste but they prefer the thistle seeds. The little purple finches, however, are really pushy about getting a turn at the purple sweet stuff. Drama in the back yard all day long!!! May your dramas be small, quick winged and brilliantly colored. Thanks for stopping by to share your fabulous posts.
