This week we went to a Graduation Party for nephew Jon. A champion basketballer and rugby player, super scholar who knew what he wanted to do early on and has pursued high school and college with excellence. And I got to play catch with a cute, bossy three year old! You stand against that wall, she’d shout. Back up, back up, she’d order, trying to keep me as far away as possible. No, you go into the corner now, pointing across the room. She also knew what she wanted — keep the ball — and how to achieve that goal. Uncle Jon may have to teach some sportsmanship, though!
