The family reunion is coming in a couple of weeks. Would you make a family tree, my cousin asked. But don’t make it geneaology because nobody likes geneaology. Hmm — couple of big websites and a few tv shows would dispute that. But nevertheless, I am trying to make it “not geneaology” by showcasing stories of the people who came before. Three brothers left the Shenandoah Valley and came to the Great Plains with its vast openness and hope for a better future. And more than a century later, those families are still connected — by both their geneaology and their stories. Thanks for stopping by to share your awesome stories and adventures, projects and recipes.
