We are in the midst of our makeover blitz. The kitchen has all new cabinets — but we didn’t take time to put in shelves so the contents are piled high in the dining room. And the basement. Two bathrooms were ripped apart and are in the process of being totally redone. One is waiting for the vanity to be installed — after the floor is tiled. The other bath had two soffits removed, waste pipes and electrical lines rerouted. The tub/shower surround is being tiled right this minute. Tomorrow my brother will teach us how to put in the floor tile for that bathroom so we can tile the second bathroom ourselves. Brother Gene leaves Tuesday morning for his home in North Carolina and we owe him (and wife Deb) a million thanks for spending ten days teaching, guiding and gettin’ things done!!!!
